I really was done making montage type videos. I made one of Cameron for Riley, Tyler, me, his family, and his friends. I hit all the bases, not to mention, used all my good video clips I had of him. But then mom buys me a song. Yes, you read that right. My mom bought me and Cameron a freaking song! She watched this episode of Shark Tank and there was a company called Songlorious. Basically you go to their website, pick a genre, tell your story and boom. They make you a custom song. I cried listening to it. This really is one of the most thoughtful and best gifts I have ever gotten. I can't thank you enough, Mom.
Made a trip to the "Hippo Zoo" AKA the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. I always loved this zoo. It is so big it is an all day event. But this trip was even better because there were dinosaurs! The kids and I had a really fun summer day together. I always love spending quality time with my kiddos.
In August, we went to the Dungeness Spit out side of Port Angeles for a little family camping! It was a really nice trip and we had a great bonding time. I am not going to lie and say it wasn't hard though. This was our first camping trip without Cameron and so much of the time I was thinking of how much easier and fun it would have been with him here. I am grateful though for my family though that took the time to plan this and make it a memorable activity for my kids and myself.
