Well, we officially hit Phase 2 of the "Get Back to Normal" plan. This phase involves us being able to hang out with 5 people outside of our family (we should still be social distancing). We figured it was safe to take our family on a little vacation. Honestly, it was now or never because Cameron was still off work and he was making nice money with those unemployment checks coming in. So we decided on a road trip all around the Pacific North West. We stopped in 4 different states, 6 different hotels, and a bunch of different attractions. We LOVE living with my parents and all the extra help, but it definitely was a much needed trip for our little family to reconnect, just us.
While on the trip, I didn't realize how much I filmed! This will be a three part video. So stay tuned for the remainder of our trip in the coming weeks!
P.S. It has been over a month since we got back and no one is showing signs of COVID, so we are all just fine :)
So here it the hike that Cameron had so much trouble on in out Two Hike One Vlog post. We decided to try it out as a family! I did not take nearly as much video as I thought I did...so it is short and sweet. This was a nice break from being cooped up to get out and hang out together.
We decided to add even more fun into this family. We saw online this cool book called "The Adventure Book". Basically what it is, is a surprise adventure. Anytime we decided to, we can scratch off an activity and we must do what it says (it says that in the rules). This was our first (and only so far) adventure. We got to have a backyard movie night! It was so much fun! Such a creative way to spend time as a family! I didn't get nearly enough videos of this cute night, but just know, we had a blast.
